Analysis of poem ââ¬ÅMuliebrityââ¬Â by Sujata Bhatt Essay
The sonnet muliebrity by Sujata Bhatt, discusses the force ladies have and the character of ladies, who invest wholeheartedly in what they do, regardless of whether it is simply picking bovine excrement. The artist talks about a young lady, who is a portrayal of town ladies, who does the dull activity of picking dairy animals waste outside a sanctuary and the young lady is depicted in a respectful way. The title of the sonnet muliebrity, recommends womanhood. The undertone of the title, status and intensity of a lady, is reflected in the sonnet where the creator utilizes the words significance and force. The writer discusses her basic youth encounters through her sonnets, utilizing an idealistic tone, to make it increasingly full of feeling. With a brilliant tone, she portrays the view at the town. There is utilization of enjambment in the sonnet, to weight on to what extent prior the artist saw the young lady and it could likewise recommend a sentiment of wistfulness. An extremely basic tone and language is utilized in the sonnet, to demonstrate the straightforwardness of the circumstance. The artist says that she has considered the young lady, recommending that the artist regards the young lady and is in wonderment of the manner in which the young lady holds her head high, in spite of the way that she makes a humble showing of picking fertilizer. The artist contemplates on why the young lady accomplishes something that isnt typically expected to be finished by her and weights on the poise of work demonstrating how, despite the fact that it is a sabotaging task, she does it joyfully. She is dazzled by the young ladies responsibility and commitment to her work. An exceptionally positive methodology is appeared towards the work done, as desires don't prevent the young lady from doing what she needs to do. The writer, unpredictably depicts the ladylike developments and disposition of the young lady toward her activity. she discusses the manner in which she moved her hands and midsection, showing the nearness of womanhood in the young lady, and despite the fact that her responsibility is to scoop waste, which is considered as an exceptionally belittling activity, she has held the gentility in her and still has pride in herself. Much further in the sonnet, the creator portrays the autonomy of the young lady, as she says power sparkling through her cheekbones. The writer likewise depicts the odor of the air wherein the young lady needs to work, as she says smell of dairy animals manure and smell of monkey-breath. Despite what might be expected, the smell of newly washed garments and of canna lilies is alsoâ mentioned, which discloses to us that however the young ladies work isn't noble, the writer moves toward the young lady decidedly. The young lady gets fertilizer outside a sanctuary, which shows that she is serving the general public. The writer deciphers this activity as one which is deferential. She utilizes visual symbolism, as she portrays the environmental factors of the young lady and the awful scents in so much detail, that the crowd would have the option to envision the circumstance. The scents blockade the artist independently and at the same time, which discloses to us that however every one of these scents are available together, she portrays them exclusively with the goal that it deeperly affects the perusers. The artist says that she doesnt need to utilize the young lady as an allegory, and as a good example for each other lady, however she doesnt need to overlook the young lady, who held the womanhood in her, independent of her activity. The artist investigates all the ladylike characteristics of a lady through this sonnet, class, pride, poise, freedom and the manner in which a lady introduces herself to the world, having a solid and ground-breaking character. The writer by implication passes on to her crowd how a perfect lady ought to be, having all the above characteristics, and despite the fact that the artist makes reference to that she doesnt need to utilize the young lady as a similitude, she quietly communicates that each lady should show such attributes. Indeed, even as the young lady gets bovine compost, she likes herself, as she is carrying out this responsibility for her living, and she invests wholeheartedly in it, which is the thing that the writer attempts to tell the crowd. The picture of the young lady is depicted well overall, and the creator utilizes the young lady viably to investigate womanhood. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muliebrity

Global Threats to the US National Security Term Paper
Global Threats to the US National Security Term Paper Global Threats to the US National Security â" Term Paper Example > The paper â Global Threats to the US National Securityâ is a delightful example of a term paper on social science. Global threats to the National Security Council not only affects the citizen of the US but the world population at large. Recently and in the present, the world has seen threats to security that is brought about because groups of people have prioritized personal interests. The criminals make a bigger population suffer so that they benefit. The National Security Council is entrusted with protecting the interests of the citizens and deliberates to neutralize global threats. This article will address the current nature of threats and the major priorities that the National Security Council should deal with them effectively. Cyber crimes in the recent past have been the leading capital crime in the world. The cases have raised the concern of managers of big companies too. Cyber crimes have a wider range of activities that can affect the National Security Council. Indiv iduals and groups of people have been engaging in data hacking and violating copyright and software privacy (Glisson and Choo, 2017). The criminals can also steal global security data from the servers. In my opinion, if they can access information or massive weapons a lot of innocent peopleâ s lives will be at risk. Security information in the wrong hands can lead to more terrorism in the country. Terrorism has been ranked as the second capital crime after cyber felonies. ISIS is currently the leading group that has been an ultimatum to National Security. According to Mueller and Stewart (2017), terrorists bomb innocent citizens with the aim of sabotaging the countryâ s economy. Terrorism is a global threat because many countries suffer major losses because of the bombings. The terrorists migrate into the country illegally and bring bomb-making types of equipment with them. It is a priority of the National Security Council to protect the lives of the citizen. For this reason, I feel the National Security Council should also prioritize and deliberate on terrorism. Rival countries with the United States who suffer from fallen economies make attempts for retribution of their domestic affairs. They suffer from bad economies and poor leadership. These countries use military forces to try and attack the country to prove their toughness. By so doing, those countries feel like they will make a name for themselves and make a grand statement on the grandest world stage (bell, 2018). Use of massive weapons to threaten the United States is a big threat because a lot of lives will be lost if they strike. The National Security Council, in my opinion, should beef up security to protect the lives and property of the States. These global threats environments have a major impact on the lives and safety of the citizen. The Security Council should treat them as a priority more than other national threats to and fulfill the promise of serving and protecting. The president of the United States has also joined hands with the Council to support the campaign against these threats. The immigration department should be more lenient to reduce instances of terroristsâ entry into the country. The defense department should also equip itself to dismantle weapons aimed at destroying our country. Security of files should be improved and strict measures placed for criminals of cyber felonies.

The Ethical Debate Over Abortion - 996 Words
The Ethical Debate - Abortion: Whilst it has been touched upon earlier, the ethical debate surrounding the status of embryos and fetuses is vast and complicated. A focal point of the ethical debate is the moral status of abortion as well as whether and on what basis it should be available to the public; it is through this topic that the ethical debate shall be considered. The view of the Roman Catholic Church, for example, is that personhood begins at conception; thus, life should be safeguarded from this point onwards. Undeniably, at first, this option seems the most palatable because we are not able to say with absolute certainty when the child-to-be begins to feel pain or develops features that we all agree to denote personhood. However, whilst ethically pleasing, this approach presents practical issues. For example, in The Republic of Ireland (Ireland) the case of Attorney General v X. In this case a child had fallen pregnant after being raped, she attempted to travel to England with her mother to receive an abortion but the High Court granted an injunction barring her from doing so. The decision received much public admonition, and the Supreme Court reversed it to allow the abortion to go ahead because there was a risk that the child might commit suicide. Whilst the laws governing abortion in Ireland have changed with the Life During Pregna ncy Act 2013, there are still many practical issues owing to the rights afforded to the unborn; unless the circumstancesShow MoreRelatedEthical Theories Of The Debate Over Abortion1741 Words à |à 7 Pages There is a vast number of ethical theories, whether or not you believe in those theories is a matter of opinion and personal belief. Donââ¬â¢t Judge A Book By Its Cover Have you ever been judge just from your appearance? Well I have, so many times. I believe that everyone shouldnââ¬â¢t be judge by their looks, get to know them first. Everyone must have at least heard the quote, ââ¬Å"donââ¬â¢t judge a book by its cover,â⬠because itââ¬â¢s just the same thing, donââ¬â¢t judge a person by its appearance. We will write a custom essay sample on Donââ¬â¢t Judge a Book by Its Cover or any similar topic only for you Order Now People have been judge by their race and who they are. You should at least ask, or get to know them first before you start saying something. All around, I hear or see, most Asians are being ask by this question; ââ¬Å"Are you Chinese? Just because Iââ¬â¢m Asian doesnââ¬â¢t mean Iââ¬â¢m Chinese. Asians have a lot of different race that I canââ¬â¢t even name all of them. People would come to you and say something in a different language. Youââ¬â¢ll say something back like, ââ¬Å"Hello, Iââ¬â¢m not Chinese,â⬠or ââ¬Å"Hello Iââ¬â¢m not Korean. â⬠Well whatever language they are trying to say to you other then your own language. To me, I think theyââ¬â¢re just making fun of you because they have no life. I see it happens a lot to me, but not just only me but to those who are like me. You would hear this a lot at this school, but itââ¬â¢s not true. Everybody, well most people, would be saying, ââ¬Å"Asians are smart. â⬠Just because Iââ¬â¢m ââ¬Å"Asianâ⬠doesnââ¬â¢t make me smart. Not all Asians are smart, trust me. Everyone is equal in different ways, but you just donââ¬â¢t see it with the people you might hang out with. They also think that all Asians are good at math. I think they are but some are not. Iââ¬â¢m not that good at math, but itââ¬â¢s still easy to me. Do you think Asians are rich? Well I donââ¬â¢t think so; I think that most Asians are just like any other regular person that you see trying to support a family. Thatââ¬â¢s one of the goals that most Asians wants to succeed. Well, thatââ¬â¢s everyoneââ¬â¢s goal that actually cares. Not only Asians are the only one that are being judge by their appearance or race, but some Hispanics too. Just because theyââ¬â¢re Hispanic doesnââ¬â¢t mean they ââ¬Å"cross the border. â⬠Just because theyââ¬â¢re white doesnââ¬â¢t mean they have to be tall and that Asians are short. Like for example, me, even though Iââ¬â¢m skinny doesnââ¬â¢t make me anorexic because I know I eat a lot. If youââ¬â¢re smart in academics, it doesnââ¬â¢t make you a nerd. Just be you. Overall, from my prospective, everywhere you go, you see someone is being judge. They just think they are all so funny, thinking theyââ¬â¢re so cool, and trying to get everyoneââ¬â¢s attention. Think about others while you at it because you donââ¬â¢t know how that person might feel when you say those kinds of things. People would judge you too, but why would you have to do it bad. Some stuff might be good comments like a compliment, but that person may take it offensive. I believe that you shouldnââ¬â¢t be judge by your looks; like they say, donââ¬â¢t judge a book by its cover. How to cite Donââ¬â¢t Judge a Book by Its Cover, Papers

Among the big consultancy groups include Adopt a Light consultancy group, Glowing Light Consultants LTD as well as The Renewable Consultants Limited. Considering these consultancy firms, they rule a considerable market share. According to the conclusions of the research conducted by Knight and Thomas (2012, p. 23), it is indicated that Adopt a Light consultancy group commands a 20 percent market share while Glowing Light Consultants LTD commands a 15 percent market share. In a similar research conducted by Wade (2008, p. 177), it is indicated in the findings that The Renewable Consultants Limited has taken up a massive 22 percent of the market share in the solar energy consultancy industry. Generally, there are a significant number of solar energy consultancy firms. However, these firms are perceived as not posing a significant threat to this company. Clearly, the Renewable Consultants Limited is the dominant leader in the solar energy consultancy industry. However, the other two consultancy groups as well as our company pose as a threat to the proclaimed industry leader. Competition from other products Our products as well as services are competitive in nature. However, according to a recent research conducted by this consultancy group, it was found out that there are other consultancy groups within Melbourne that offer the same competitive services as well as products that we offer to the clients. Therefore, the management of this consultancy business quickly acted on the recommendations indicated in the research by establishing measures to differentiate the businessââ¬â¢ products and services from competitive ones in the eyes of the solar energy clients (Inwood, 2007, p. 16). As such, the top management of this group embarked on the branding differentiation strategy. Barri ers to entry Generally, there are few requirements that a company must comply with before being granted entry into the consultancy industry in Australia. Further, one must provide sufficient proof to show that he has a considerable knowledge and experience with the solar energy products and services. This implies that the entry to the industry is relatively less complicated. This is the possible reason why there are various consultancy groups in the industry. The easiness to admission favors new entrants, who are considered to be prospective competitors, as they enters the solar energy market during the periods in which high profits are being achieved and therefore expanding the capacity to produce. This is a major drawback to the existing businesses as it leads to prices of the consultancy products as well as services to be driven down and similarly, the profitability level lowers down. However, the government realized that there is a condition of unhealthy competition and as such, it has established new regulations that will ensure that the entry to the industry is complicated (Shapiro, 2002, p. 54). This implies that the competitors will find it hard to enter into the industry and as such, the profit margin of this consultancy group will remain favorable. Some of the new requirements that the government has established include; Limited access to market This will greatly favor the group as it has products as well services that are not only well branded but well established, as well. If a new competitor is lucky enough to gain entry, it will have to spend a considerable amount of time money as well as efforts in an effort towards establishing a successful product as well as the service (Barber, 2011, p. 559). Limited access to technology The Australian government has sought to limit the patent technology, in addition to, other intellectual property and as such, it is a great boost to this company as new competition is not imminent. Supply chain concentration Industry rivalry The rivalry between the consultancy groups in the Australian industry, especially in Melbourne, is intense. This means that the company must be continually vigilant on the improved practices that the competitors are engaging in and therefore establish practices that are more viable in an effort towards vending competition off (Altman, 2008, p. 600) Market Trends In the recent past, the sensitivity of the price of solar energy consultancy products as well as services has changed in a significant way. Further, the demand for a variety as well as the level of emphasis on consultancy service, in addition to, support has changed. Another relevant change that has taken place in the near past is regional trends. This consultancy group sees these changes as vital since, through them, it is easy to establish new opportunities, in addition top, threats. Key Success Factors This consultancy group has access to essential resources, which are unique. In addition to this, the gro up has the capabilities of achieving economies of scale in the solar energy consultancy industry. The group also has an access to solar energy consultancy services and productsââ¬â¢ distribution channel. Further, the group has experienced an excellent technological progress. The company sees these as key success factors and as such, they are essential, as they will assist the company in its efforts towards achieving the marketing objectives. However, the company is aware that these key success factors will change going into the future, especially as the consultancy products as well as the service progresses through their life cycle (Mills, 2008, p. 55). Distribution Channels Existing channels of distribution The consultancy group ensures that it contacts its clients in a direct manner. Trends and emerging Distribution channels The company has recently embarked on efforts aimed at discovering new distribution channels for its consultancy products as well as services in an effort t owards developing a competitive advantage, in addition to, enhancing its market share. Channel power structure The brands that the consultancy owns have little brand equity. This implies that the consultancy group has power over the manufacturers and therefore, the company has the ability to capture higher margins. The Consultancyââ¬â¢s management team Foremost, the company had adopted a hierarchical structure. A hierarchical organizational structure is essential as it helps the personnel understand where they fit in the organizational hierarchy as well as where they can move after they are moved from their positions. Analysts These are junior most employees in the company. Each analyst of the consultancy holds a bachelorââ¬â¢s degree from a university having majored in a field, which is business related. The company acknowledges this as the entry-level position and as such, the position offers the ability to further move up within the consultancy business after a specified pe riod. In this case, the company requires that for one to be promoted, he must have been an analyst in the same company for a period of two years. Consultants According to Engestrom (2005), consultants are key elements as they form the bulk of any consultancy business. The people in this position were either former analysts or they were admitted directly to this position having met the companyââ¬â¢s requirements for this position, that is, holding a Maters in Business Administration. Partners This is where the top management team falls. Partners are the senior most members of any particular consultancy business. In this company, the partners act as consultants, in addition to, assuming a managerial role. The most important thing is that partners are part of the owners of the consultancy business and therefore, they have a share in the revenues of the business. Below is the full list as well as the roles of the partners. The chief Executive Officer The Chief Executive Officer has b een mandated with the responsibilities of helping the households as well as the industries that use solar energy to face the unique challenges emanating from the adoption of solar power as the source of energy. He ensures this by leading in solar energyââ¬â¢s planning retreats, facilitates meetings, in addition to, conducting surveys of both the employees as well as the customers. The chief executive officer is involved in a number of roundtable energy saving education sessions. In addition to this, he chairs and speaks at many seminars covering solar energy industry strategies to success as well as solar methodologies suitable for energy consultancy business (Ayres, 2004, p. 28). Further, the chief executive officer of this company develops and monitors the companyââ¬â¢s marketing strategies for the solar energy clients. Director of finance The person occupying this position is required to optimize the cash flows. Further, he is required to streamline the financial processes of the company. In addition, he is responsible with productivity enhancement, introduction of improvements in the processes as well as implementing solutions through technology. Operations Manager This docket concerns several management aspects, which include operations and implementation, management of finance, management of products and services both strategic planning and positioning and technology development, in addition to, support. Human Resources Manager The person in this position will be responsible for the management of the employees of the company. However, he will be required to focus keenly on the management of benefits, relations as well as payrolls of the employees. He will oversee the human resource functions in this company (Brigham, 2004, p. 233). Information Technology Manager A person who is considered a pragmatic technologist holds this position and as such, he is responsible with the application of technology for the sake of the companyââ¬â¢s value, in addi tion to advantage. Business development manager This position is responsible for the performance of the sales quota, development of new businesses, founding and building strong relationships with the companyââ¬â¢s customers, as well as, the effective management of territories, time and working teams. Service manager This position is responsible with the maintenance of a special focus on the management of information. Service Development It is made clear by Vaughan (2007, p. 55) that successive product and service development does not necessarily have to do with products. Rather, it involves the establishment of the needs, which the customer may not even be aware of and thereby developing solutions in an effort towards meeting those needs. This consultancy group will mainly dwell on service offerings. As such, the company will provide a solar energy consultancy service to its clients. For precision, the company will offer advice to the solar energy clients regarding the efficient way to save energy. As such, saving energy is the hidden need that the solar energy clients are not aware. In order to provide the best consultancy solution to this need, the company will adopt the ideation session technique. As such, the company will embark on conducting internal ideation sessions, that is, with the company employees, as well as external sessions, that is with the potential customers, in order to explore what might be possible (Krishna, 2001, p. 13). Further, the ideation session will be effective in understanding the goals of the customers as well as the most effective way to meet these goals. In addition to this, the ideation sessions will be essential, as it will be used to establish the best practices that the consultancy can apply in both the short term as well as in the long term. Further service development strategies, the consultancy business will engage in intermediary services whereby it will sell energy services from big companies at discounted rates. Ho wever, in doing this, the top management team will ensure that there is no instance the company will become affiliated with any one company. Through this, the top management team will have acknowledged the rule of consultancy, which states that; to be a consultant, it is not recommended to become affiliated with any one company or product. Financial Considerations Initial start up costs Since the company has no operating premises of its own, renting is inevitable. A team will be assigned the duty of identifying a building to set up the consultancy business premises. As such, the identified place should be rational in terms of costs, in addition to, being at strategic points where it is easily accessible. The equipments needed for this consultancy business operation includes computers, furniture, stationeries, safes, printers and photocopiers, among other equipments. These equipments will be essential in supporting the consultancy activities. The general outlay to be provided in orde r to acquire these equipments is approximated to be sixteen million dollars. In order to come up with the prices that will be charged for the services rendered to the clients, the company will establish a team to conduct an intensive research on the prices that other similar businesses charge for their services. However, during an initial research done by the company, it was established that the charges depend on the complexity of the issue at hand. Generally, the solar energy consultancy services range from as low as a hundred dollars to as high as a thousand dollars. Other costs that the clients will incur apart from the consultancy service charges will include installation costs as well as maintenance costs. As a way to market the company towards reaching a competitive advantage, the top management team will identify activities, which will be offered for free and as such, they will be considered as after sales services. Such will include clean up of the installed system among oth er activities. These events will not be included in the financial reports of the companies after the end of a financial year. Profit margin The company is targeting a profit margin of one million dollars after all the deductions have been made, that is, after considering tax on returns and interests to shareholders, among other deductions. In order to realize this budget, the financial department will be required to come up with a focused budget showing how processes will be funded. In addition to this, the financial department will have to come up with a budget that clearly outlines the sources of cash flows. The groupââ¬â¢s future planning Time Line The essence of developing a future planning time line is to help the consultancy business focus on the prize irrespective of the stage that the company is in currently. First year After the end of the first year, the business plan of this consultancy group that it intends to start with will be re-read. The rationale behind re-readin g it in after the first year is that updates will be made, and if there is a need, the goals or even schedules of the company will be revised. In addition to this, re-reading the business plan will ensure that the management of the company is re-acquainted with the goals that were made at the starting point, which the management lost touch with during the cumbersome startup days. Going into the second year, these goals will be fixed. Second through to the fifth year Both the processes as well as the procedures that the company will have developed during the first year will be formalized in this period. In this period, the basic goal will be getting adequate information from the people and putting it on paper. Further, the procedures for operations will be written down in a manual during this period and this will prove to be of great importance. It is being considered that it will assist in helping the management of the company to think through the elements associated with the critic al tasks of the consultancy business (Hirt, 2012, p, 71). It is advisable to have a system in the organization, which is not only rational but reputable, as well. Such a system is of great value as the business plan for the first phase of sustained growth. After entering the first growth phase, that is, in the third year the company will begin the process of hiring people in large numbers that it will have done before. This process of bringing new people will be fool proofed by the management team embarking on writing down job descriptions for each and every position, whether existing or newly established. Kerzner (2009, p. 19) states that a well documented and thought of job descriptions is essential, as they help in identifying and hiring the most suitable people for the right jobs. During this period, the top management will have to consider the face that this consultancy business will present to the customers. Messages, images, in addition to other viable marketing materials wil l be codified. As such, the processes used in sales and marketing will be standardized. When the company grows too large at some particular point such that it will not be possible to manage in the hands-on way it was initially done, it will be taken as a call to bring in a management team. As the company grows during this period, it will need bigger capital and the initial sources will not be appealing. Therefore, the company will turn to banks and other lending facilities. By this time, the company will have grown larger and as such, the issue of creditworthiness will not be a problem (Matt, 2009, p. 33). As the company progresses, there will be a need for documentations. Therefore, bookkeeping procedures will have to be adopted. Further, there will be generation of not only regular but accurate financial reports, as well. These will include cash flow projections, income statements, in addition to balance sheets. Fifth to tenth year The company will embark on more sophisticated bus iness operations such as mergers and acquisitions. Assumptions The main assumption is that the accumulated funds will favor an effective entry into the solar energy consultancy business. Further, it is postulated that the current growth pattern of the consultancy industry will remain the same especially at the time this business will be making an entry. Read Roman Republic and Brutus Essay
Read Roman Republic and Brutus Essay Read: Roman Republic and Brutus Essay Yes. Brutus clearly wishes the best for Rome, and kills Caesar out of "civic responsibility," understanding that if no one stops him, he'll become tyrant of Rome and the Republic will be over. He's the only one acting out of that conviction; most other characters in the play don not act honorably and are interested in how Caesar's death will benefit themselves. Posted by enotechris on January 2, 2009. Flag Post Message enotechris Reply to Post 3 robertwilliam Teacher College - Sophomore Educator, Debater, Expert, Dickens, The Bard Great question - and there isn't a right answer. Antony clearly doesn't think so when he juxtaposes Brutus' actions with his ideals in the funeral speech in which he - with increasing levels of irony - describes Brutus and the conspirators as an honorable man. Look, in this place ran Cassius' dagger through; See what a rent the envious Casca made; Through this the well-beloved Brutus stabb'd; And as he pluck'd his cursed steel away, Mark how the blood of Caesar follow'd it... The huge gulf between Brutus' ideals and his actions is where the problem lies. In his soliloquy he outlines that he has no "personal cause" to attack Caesar, but only the "general: he would be crowned". Yet we've seen Brutus be persuaded by Cassius, who plays absolutely on Brutus' own self-important sense of honour, and even compares Brutus with Caesar, asking "why should that name be sounded more than yours?". Is Brutus only drawn into the conspiracy ("general cause") out of self-regard and arrogance - "a personal cause"? Perhaps. And, when you compare Brutus' imperative that the conspiracy rises against Caesar's spirit, in which there "is no blood", with the blood that pours out after the assassination itself, you have to conclude that Brutus is somewhat painfully idealistic. Personally, I don't think he's honorable, but a cynical portrayal of how a self-regarding liberal can bring about absolute disaster. But whichever way you go, he's a political disaster. Marine Aquaculture Development and Distribution Assignment
Marine Aquaculture Development and Distribution - Assignment Example Salmon and shrimp are accredited for the growth of global mariculture (Stickney, 1999). In recent years, many developing countries have made significant accomplishments in mariculture production. However, there are increased concerns regarding the increased culture of salmon, shrimp and other carnivorous mariculture species that affect the wild fish stocks. They are fed on processed wild capture fishes, which may have a negative impact on food security even though they are economically viable. The economic gains for the cultured carnivorous species are short-lived compared to sustainable capture fishes that are significant for food security. Many countries have developed policies to enhance eco-friendly mariculture. China, Russia, South Africa and Honduras in Latin America are among the nations that have put in place policies to support mariculture projects. USAID and other environmental stakeholders have contributed to the establishment of sustainable environmental friendly mariculture in various countries. This has been accomplished through capacity building in some selected third world countries such as Indonesia, Republic of Tanzania and Honduras among others. These projects are aimed at improving the food security of the poor coastal communities as well as acting as a source of income for improved standards of living (Stanley, 2003). In Asia where aquaculture is a significant source of food and income, mariculture contributes 37% of the overall finish and shellfish production, totaling 10.8 million tons (Stickney, 1999). In recent years, Chinaââ¬â¢s mariculture production has been on the rise, with close to 60% of the global production coming from the country in 2005. India and Japan are also major producers of mariculture products, as well as Bangladesh. Japanââ¬â¢s production has been facilitated by the improvements in techniques for seed production as well as the practice of cage culture.

Consequences of deception in romantic relationships Dissertation
Consequences of deception in romantic relationships - Dissertation Example When deception is detected, negative emotional reactions result, particularly when the lies exposed are considered to be significant. In Coleââ¬â¢s (2001) study, 256 individuals (128 couples) were used as the research sample. They were asked to complete questionnaires pertaining to their partnerââ¬â¢s and their own communication behavior. The aim was to determine the link between the extent of interpersonal communication and the practice of deception. Moreover, the study examined the roles played by causes for deception such as reciprocity, avoidance of punishment, or deceptive fulfilment of the lack of intimacy in their romantic relationship. The use of deception is more frequently found where relational characteristics are at lower levels. Thus, deception appears to be used as a method for coping with relational problems, and greater use of deception is considered to be ââ¬Å"an indicator of overall relational distressâ⬠(Cole, 2001, p.125). Coleââ¬â¢s (2001) research study also obtained certain results related to the outcome of deception. Primarily, the best relational outcomes arise from couples avoiding deception while at the same time trusting each otherââ¬â¢s fidelity. However, when it becomes known that deception is being practised by one of the partners, there are negative outcomes for everyone involved. When there is a little suspicion, the other partner may be tempted to engage in deception too, thus sending the relationship into a downward spiral. This results in increasing deception by both the individuals, greater suspicion between partners, and progressive deterioration of the romantic relationship. The above study could have been made more useful through a greater focus on the outcomes of deception among the couples where deception was found, thereby providing evidence based results. The research study would need to extend over a longer period of time, to determine how each couple who had experienced deception between them, fared with the passage of time. This is because some couples may reconcile, while others may break up the romantic relationship permanently. In romantic relationships, fidelity is a serious concern for both sexes. Deception by one of the partners can have devastating results on the relationship. When the infidelity comes to light, the betrayed partnerââ¬â¢s feelings of being let down can give rise to ââ¬Å"unpleasant emotions including depression, anger, self-reproach and jealousyâ⬠(Shackelford, Buss and Bennett, 2002, p.299). Infidelity remains as the most serious cause for the dissolution of a relationship leading to divorce, and breaking up of the relationship is resorted to as the most common solution. On the other hand, not all couples break up their relationship because of a partnerââ¬â¢s infidelity. Some individuals try to find out all the details from their unfaithful partner to determine the nature and

Strategy of Marketing and its impact
Strategy of Marketing and its impact Strategy is a long term actions/plans which are made by some organization to achieve their peculiar targets/goals. (link 1) According to Michael Porter the strategy is all about the mixture of different activities which are differentiated from competitors to pronounce unique mix of value. To him its all about differentiating yourself from customers as well as competitors. (link 2) Without a strategy the organization is like a ship without a rudder, going around in circles Joel Ross Michael Kami (lec-1) Marketing strategy: A marketing strategy is a process or model to allow a company or organization to focus limited resources on the best opportunities to increase sales and thereby achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. (link-3) The set of objectives which an organization allocates to its marketing function in order to support the overall corporate strategy, together with the broad methods to achieve these objectives Chartered institutes of marketing (lec-2) The above two examples show that , marketing strategy is actually the strategy that support overall corporate and which a company has to use efficiently to market its products on best opportunities while converging the limited resources to achieve its goal. Marketing planning: Marketing planning is a logical sequence and a series of activities leading to the setting of marketing objectives and the formulation of plans for achieving them (link-4) Now we can interrelate all the above terms with the help of diagram below. Business Goals Market Strategy Marketing Mix Marketing Plan The above diagram shows that an organization has to set business goals which are actually the target of company or mission statement. The next level comes of marketing strategy which is esteemed rule that company has acquired to market their products. After establishing the market strategy company moves forward towards marketing mix in which it define the whole marketing mix i-e Product, Pricing, Place and Distribution. Afterwards the process of writing of marketing plans comes in which company has to describe the whole market activities which are used to acquire business goals. (link-3) 1.2 Impacts of strategy on marketing planning: Under this heading the strategies of organization will be discussed and the impacts of that strategies on the marketing of organization will be noticed. What effect that strategies will throw on organizations long run and short run will also be discussed. Here we are talking about Fresher marketing plans. As described earlier it is a Pakistani local company that is making 100% pure juices and this is one of the marketing strategy of Fresher that make it distinguishes from others. The company has many competitors in the same line of 100% fresh juices i-e Nestle, Shezan, Minute Maid etc. But the Fresher is successful yet to maintain the no. 1 position in the brands of 100% pure juices. And also Fresher is successful to maintain its positioning against Nestle and other strong brands like Minute Maid. The benefit what Fresher will get due to this strategy is that competitors are not attaching it from all the sides. Only fresh juice companies are interested to attach its strategies. It has no concern with any other product line of competitors. Another strategy of Fresher is that they are using PET BOTTLES instead of juice boxes which made their product easy to use for the customers and the look of their brand product is totally different from others. They are also using SHRINK WRAPS for the packaging of their products. The one more thing that makes their product discriminate is tags hanged with the bottle of juice on which a little description of brand and ingredients are written. These tags make the look of the product more elegant and it again helps to make a strong positioning of the brand. The promotion strategy that Fresher following is WORD OF MOUTH. They are using any other strong promotion strategy which again differentiate the brand from others in market. But as they are not focusing the advertisement strategy now when they that much stabled in market, they can spoil their positioning as well. Fresher has strong distribution strategy which has been helping the brand to be strong so far i-e they used ROLL OUT strategy of distribution. They started the distribution of their product from their own city and then they spread it in other cities with the passage of time when they had grown enough in the market. The strategy has a benefit that other strong competitors like Nestle, Minute Maid etc didnt notice such small brand and didnt take action for that. In the meanwhile Fresher entered in the market and had got a strong market positioning. Fresher had got another benefit of this strategy that is they maintained their resources with it. They started distributing their product in their city only and when they have earned enough money they spread it over other cities of Pakistan as well. 1.3 Component parts of a marketing plan: Parts/Categories with which a marketing plan is made up of are called components of marketing plan. Here the heading will elaborate all of its parts one by one. Executive Summary: It is the first component of the marketing plan which explains the summary of the whole marketing plan for the quick review by the management of the company. Mostly three issues are mentioned in this part. The Challenge Challenge consists of a little elaboration of product for which marketing plan is made and the summary of goals such as sales figures and strategic goals.. Company Analysis Company analysis mostly consists of the answers to following questions What are goals of the company? To what thing it focuses more? What are the strengths of that company? From what culture it belongs? What are weaknesses of the company? And in what market shares it exists? etc. Competitor Analysis In competitors analysis a short report about competitors weaknesses, strengths, market position and market shares is presented. (link-5) Current marketing situation: Its a marketing audit which shows the current market situation of the company by comparing it with the past situation of its own and with the market situation of competitors. It presents data about the market, product, competition and distribution. SWOT analysis: SWOT analysis is basically the analysis in which strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats related to the product (to be marketed) are given to have a complete look on companys analysis. The firms internal environment presents strength and weaknesses while external provides opportunities and threats. Objective and issues: This heading defines the objectives of company in different areas such as market share, sales, profit etc. Also this category will deal with all the issues and problems that effect these objectives. Marketing strategy: In this category a marketing strategy or approach is recommended to achieve the particular objective. It is the main and important part of marketing strategy structure. The strategies will elaborate the marketing mix (product, price, distribution, promotion) as well. Action programs: In this step a report is given about details of marketing strategy. The report answers such questions like how will all plan start? Who will do it? What will be the cost of all plan? Etc. Budgets: The expected budget for the specific strategy is provided in the report along with the profit and loss statement that forecasts the expected financial outcomes from the plan. Controls: Indicates how the progress of the plan will be monitored. (lec-5) 1.4 Risks and advantages in the devised marketing plan: Risks: Fresher is having a big threat in the market due to its lack of advertisement strategy now when it has gain that much credibility. Other competitors in the market has built strong image through their advertisement promotion strategy. Now it is the time when Fresher might think of making a strong and highly attractive advertisement to throw behind all the competitors. Fresher is not having a properly educated team of employees and it dont have proper departments such as HR department, RD department, Marketing department etc. So the employees working in the competitors firm are more competent and they can make proper decision at proper time. Fresher has to work on it as well. It may form a proper team so that they can compete in the leading market. As Fresher employees are not that educated in their particular field, they have disagreement in the selection of strategies. This is the major risk for the Fresher in the market as it can lead to fall of the company. Advantages: Fresher has specialized workers only in the field of making juices. Their worker knows the formula and they are best trained workers in juice making as they have to make only one product line at one time and they concentrate fully on it while competitors of Fresher have more than one product line so their workers have less command on juice making. The earlier promotion strategy of Fresher (word of mouth strategy) is quite impressive as no competitor can concentrate on upcoming new brand in this way. It gave Fresher to expand rapidly in market. The different packaging of Fresher bottle made them different and they expand undoubtedly in the fresh juice market. The biggest advantage to Fresher was the introduction of 100% fresh juice first in the market which make them differentiate from the competitors and thus they expand rapidly.

Jesse Owens â⬠A Legend Essay
The legendary Track and Field athlete, known to the world as Jesse Owens, was born James Cleveland Owens on September 12, 1913. Itââ¬â¢s claimed that the nine-year-oldââ¬â¢s accent made it difficult for his schoolteacher in Ohio to understand Owens when he gave his name as ââ¬Å"JC. â⬠Instead the teacher wrote his name down as ââ¬Å"Jesseâ⬠(Gentry, 1990, p. 34). Jesseââ¬â¢s first brush with running was to be in the hills of Alabama, his home state. At the time though, Jesse was a sickly child given to frequent attacks of Pneumonia and other medical issues including the appearance of boils. His training for the track and field events only began when he entered Fairmont Junior High School where he was noticed by Charles Riley, an Irishman who was quick to take into account Jesseââ¬â¢s ââ¬Å"potentialâ⬠despite his lack of a strong physique. Riley, took the time to coach Jesse before school began each day so that Jesse would be free after school to do the part time jobs heââ¬â¢d taken up to contribute towards his familyââ¬â¢s financial betterment. Thereââ¬â¢s nothing to show that Jesseââ¬â¢s typical workouts werenââ¬â¢t anything but pretty basic in terms of the equipment available and the routines followed in those early years. Practicing the various techniques of starting and running as well as long jump is what Jesse engaged in. Making the most of this humble start, Jesse soon began to draw attention to his abilities, having by this time, enrolled in East Technical High School. Owens then went on to join the Ohio State University where he continued to break records and draw attention though still failing to get a scholarship on account of his race. Owens greatest contribution to American history came in Berlin where the 1936 Summer Olympics were held. Jesse Owens went on to win four gold medals for his country ââ¬â 100m sprint, 200m sprint, 4 x100m relay and long jump ââ¬â in the face of strong prejudices exhibited by Adolf Hitler who was intent on showing off the superiority of the Aryan race to the world. Americans greeted him with great enthusiasm on his return, and cheered his accomplishments heartily (Corrigan, 1990, p. 18). Track and Field events gained popularity in the United States. However, Jesse himself was not to benefit from all these events.
